An agricultural analytical and pathology laboratory with over 20 years of combined experience working within academia and industry in the fields of botany, agriculture, and chemistry. Seamless's mission is to inform and educate our clients on the identification, diagnosis, and management of pathogens and nutritional disorders within a crop production system utilizing current analytical methods and equipment. Seamless's expertise in phytochemistry, analytical chemistry, soil chemistry, soil community ecology and most importantly plant nutrition supports the growth of healthy food and medicine.

Seamless Labs utilizes current scientific methods and technology to investigate challenging and often cryptic diseases that have substantial impact to commercial/industrial agricultural crops including cannabis. Our expertise in phytopathology focuses on arthropod, fungal, bacterial and viral identification within plant systems and developing methods to manage those specific pests to minimize the use of pesticides.

Plant Pathology Services

 

Plant pathology services range from a simple evaluation of a sample to intensive analysis. At Seamless we offer a range of plant pathology diagnostic services for any botanical application, commercial or private. Our basic screening services utilize light microscopy for the identification of fungal symptoms and/or spores, bacterial symptoms, nematodes, and arthropods. For a more in-depth analysis, we offer advanced molecular techniques include DNA/RNA extraction, basic PCR, RT-PCR and DNA sequencing. It is often difficult to distinguish if plant symptoms are of living (biotic) or of nutrition/soil chemistry (abiotic) origin. We strive to help our clients in determining what course of action is best to determine the underlying cause of plant symptoms. Please see our soil and tissue testing services.

Soil & Tissue Nutritional Analysis

Agronomic analyses are of major importance whether you are a large-scale agricultural operation or a home gardener. These assessments can give foresight into a pending nutrient imbalance and allow a cultivator to actualize their overall crop and soil health potential.  By monitoring nutritional distribution within a cultivators operation, one can make informed decisions that will impact the crop and the land for many growing seasons into the future.
